Continental 1936 to 1937

15.72 h.p. 1991 6 cylinder overhead valve engine with 4 speed synchromesh gearbox.

Fitted with twin S.U. carburettors, this is both mechanically and bodily the same as the Dolomite 2 litre Saloon that was produced at the same time. The only difference is that it is fitted with the more conventional Vitesse style radiator grille to please the more conservative customers who were not so keen on the Dolomite’s flamboyant “Waterfall” grille.

No official records have been seen to confirm that Triumph offered this as a 4 cylinder version, however, one has been recorded. This may have been made to a special order.

We have recorded 24 with 4 surviving, retaining their original bodywork.

1 bodystyle was offered :

Saloon – £368
